I’ve been a bit quiet lately, apologies!
My partner in crime, Uncle Evan and I, have been recording throughout winter in Canada, and we’re now in Mexico finishing it off. Here are a few pics of the process for your enjoyment. back in Nashville! so good to be back, we kickstarted the programme here with the Americana Music Association awards at The Ryman on wed night, what an amazing line up- Alabama Shakes, Justin Townes Earl, Guy Clarke, Bonnie Raitt and a particular highlight for me was seeing Richard Thompson play.
we then headed to bristol for the weekend where we went to the rhythm and roots festival. bristol is the birthplace of country music- where the carter family made their first recordings, so it was exciting to walk around and soak it all up- really enjoyed catching milk carton kids, angel snow and the deep dark woods who all played amazing shows..
the plan whilst we are here in nashville is to write and work on material for a new album in the new year, heres a little demo of something we recorded a couple of weeks ago at Dahl Street Studios in Swift Current SK, Canada hope you enjoy!

thats it folks, we take the stage live with irish country legend Hugo Duncan. 2nd Aug at Eclipse Cinemas, Downpatrick! I grew up hearing the ‘wee man from Strabane’ blaring the likes of Tammy Wynette and Emmy Lou on BBC Radio 2, who all inspired me along the way, so its a career highlight for me personally to be involved in Big O’s Country show with him. Come along and see us if you can 🙂

Yes!- following our interview at BBC Radio Ulster with John Toal, the Saturday Magazine Show asked us back to play live THIS SAT (31st Mar) at this momentus occasion for Belfast City- The Titanic Quarter Launch. It’s our total honour to have been asked and we’ll be playing our new track ‘Joyful Wing’ written especially for the Titanic Launch, along with our other tracks from the EP ‘Run Onwards’.
It really has been a whopper of a month for us- since being back in Ireland its been non-stop- highlights have to have been touring to Galway and Dublin with Rachel Austin, our interview with BBC, The Lagan Sessions, The Bluegrass Pickin’ Parlour and joining the session musicians in Paddy’s Barn. 
Big Thanks to my band Julia Reeder (Ukelele, Harmonies), Dan Hull (Upright Bass, Harmonies) and Declan Plummer (Mandola, Bodhran, Guitar, Penny Whistle and Harmonies) for bein all round total rockstars.
The EP Run Onwards is selling like hotcakes and is still available to buy on Itunes and Amazon, so if you’ve not had a listen check it out and buy it!
In May we kickstart the summer on the 11th playing with the cream of the crop in N.Ireland: The White Mansions and Sons of Caliber @ ‘Amplified’ in Newry SUPER SUPER COOL!
